Other than the subfreezing weather on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, we’ve had another good weather week for progress on the house. They started the floor joists for the second floor on Monday, and by Wednesday the second floor walls started to go up. The last three shots are from this afternoon – two front views and one rear view. About half the second floor main walls are now up. Next week they should begin the second floor walls over the garage and then start to put the roof rafters in place. They also started building the stringers for the stairway, so I’m hoping to be able to get to the second floor next week and see what kind of view we have from there.
